Jbuck, thank you for sharing your beautifully matched set with us! It sure must have been a fulfilling moment when you inserted the final piece!

Well, there are two holes ( Seated dollars), so I will have to let the future jbuck come tell you how fulfilling that moment was (will be).

Jbuck, an excellent 7070. I wish mine was like yours.

Yours will be, in time. Keep in mind that I started mine in 1993. It has been a long journey.

Have you had any up-grades since your last pictures posted here?

I do not do upgrades. Once a hole is filled, it is done. I just have two the SLD holes remaining. I probably could have filled them by now, but I have decided to spend a little more for better examples that the typical type set filler.

I have never been one to do upgrades in any of my albums. Part of it is the "if you have time to do it twice, you had time to do it right the first time" ethic with which I was raised. The bigger part is sentimentality. By the time I can afford a better one, I done got attached to what I have.

I wish I had that budget! To be honest, when it comes to classic coins I have plenty of appreciation for the lower grades. Those coins did their job and did it well.

I have recently been considering adding a 7070 to my numismatic projects. I have over 30 holes I can fill immediately, but realize that those are the easy ones and the rest is a multi-year (if not multi-decade) commitment for me. I have looked over your pics, jbuck, but I did not read every post to this point, so I apologize if this question has already been asked: Why did you choose the 2000 South Carolina quarter to represent the type? Excellent job. I really like a couple of those Seated quarters.

Quote: Why did you choose the 2000 South Carolina quarter to represent the type? I have lived in South Carolina for 33 years now. I graduated from High School and went to university here. My son was born here. It was this, Indiana (where I was born), or one of the other eight states in which I have lived. Quote:Excellent job. I really like a couple of those Seated quarters. Thank you.

Quote: I have lived in South Carolina for 33 years now. Well, that certainly makes sense. For some reason, I thought you lived in Atlanta, GA.
