I just received my first Dansco in the mail yesterday. Going to transplant my Lincoln cents from my Whitman Blue folders to the album. Can't wait to finally be able to see the entire coin and not just the obverse.

But keep the Blue Whitmans. I wish I had kept mine. They're like history.

Make sure you store that Dansco in a large ziplock bag with a desiccant pack.

Mine sits in the closet until those pesky key dates and proof holes are filled.

I got my new Kennedy Dansco this weekend. I give all of my old Whitmans,Harris folders to people who don't have any hopeing to help them get more into coin collecting, and giving me someone else to talk to about it that doesn't give me that blank look my wife does when I show her something.

Agree. They do make good coffee cup holders. Now if a Whitman Album, I'm sure those are all well protected. Quote: I give all of my old Whitmans,Harris folders to people who don't have any hopeing to help them get more into coin collecting, That is sort of what I do. I give many to someone I know that sells at flea markets. He sells a lot of them to kids. I think it's a great way for kids with little sources of money to get started.
