Doubling on the word united. I think it stands out the best on the you and the D. Is this a mint error?

I have also found what looks like either an error or just wear on the coin I can't tell. After no luck online looking myself I figured someone here could shed some light for me. And tell me if my 1985 p quarter is with more than 25 cents

to CCF. You need to start your own thread and include a better pic. With that pic, it looks like damage from a coin counting/wrapping machine or from a gumball type machine.
