I am new to the forum here and also very new to collecting. I have always thrown interesting coins in a bowl and kept them thinking one day I'd start collecting...well that day has come

Anyhoo - One of the coins I want to start focusing on (not sure why) are the
Washington quarters. While I have started collecting just the coins that show up in my pocket to get started, I also know I'm not going to end up with a 1932 in my hand any time soon. So I've started to look for them on
ebay and other places. My question for those who know. is what is a good target price that I should aim for when purchasing a 1932. Right now I'm not going to focus on any Washington D's, from what I can see those are a bit more rare and in demand and a little more expensive, but it looks like I can get a 1932 P (I think one with out a mint mark is a P please correct me if wrong) for around $7-$15 depending on the quality. I've seen GEM BU's going for $15 or so. It would be my preference to get as nice of a specimen as possible, but just not sure what price I should aim for.
Any suggestions? Also I guess let this be a shout out to any of you guys who are looking to sell, I am interested in a 1932 P or D in great shape.
