I seen that mentioned in the other thread, too. I just assumed that the WAM's, CAM's, and these were not listed because they are not die varieties.

That is, if I'm perceiving coppercoins point of view correctly.

No I got these off ebay. The nice thing about this roll it had examples from 4 different die pairs. Making more examples of each die's coins. So I found a several of this one.. 8)

Okay, okay...

I get the hint. I have never found a good way to incorporate varieties into the listings on coppercoins because at the time I built the website it was hard coded to basically accept only die varieties - and now, 12 years later, the code is so messed up and so difficult to edit, it would take more time to add varieties into the mix than it would to just rebuild the code and go forward with a new version of the site...which is my plan.

Basically if something isn't broken down into individual dies, it's not currently listable on the site. That will change, and I will eventually list the RDV varieties, wide and Close AM cents, large and small dates, and all the different mitmark types.

That's good to hear copper...I'm getting excited just hearing about it....and all kidding aside, I think that making it a one stop for lincoln collectors at the least would attract a pretty good base. I really hate jumping to different sites...even get confused as to who has what sometimes.

Well at least I know they are out there.
Even if I have to use a site other than coppercoins to attribute them....

Actually I was talked into it during the summer of 2004. I just still haven't really found the motivation to break into the code and start a complete rewrite.

I know, I know...get off my arse.

Oh believe me...the task of rewriting it is daunting at the very least. One of the least appealing parts of the process is going to be making large size images for the paid members of all the die markers - then storing them.

The site already takes up 2.3Gb of web space.

Yes, I agree about getting off it...and the thought popped into my head that somebody else may be reading all this, see a great idea, and get the jump on you...the project could turn out to be quite lucrative after the intial work is done.

amida,what is a poat ?
