pretty rough conditions, it's like they don't really want to sell them.:
# Complete the Account Agreement for 2010 America The Beautiful Silver Bullion 5-Coin Set
# Complete Form W-9
# Provide a copy of a Government issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport)
# Provide a check for $862.70 made payable to PB Financial Services, Inc. The amount does not include shipping.
# Mail the documents ...

Then, you'll have to open an account with Diamond state depository and pay an undetermined amount for storage or shipping (It smells like they are trying to get around mint restrictions here).

Not sure if this is the proper forum, it should probably be in US commemeratives, but the rest of the America the Beautiful threads are here).

I'm not trying to bash Prudential here, but it certainly sounds, and is worded like something a scammer would do/ say... It's a good deal, but it sounds like a lot of fees behind it so they can make a killing on it... Just my point of view...

Seems as though they are trying to offload their inventory in advance of the April 25th certification deadline by playing chicken, and they get stuck with the remaining sets. Prudential will probably ease up on the terms as the deadline nears OR strike a deal with the Mint to return sets as 'unsold' to be melted, in which case there definitely will be less than 33,000 complete sets.

Wouldn't buy from them at those terms, and as the last AP to offer the 2010 coins, they kinda missed the boat., even though demand still outstrips supply.

Those terms are ludicrous.

The price for the coins is similar to the other APs. Not sure why the storage, shipping, and handling costs are secret.

I don't know why they need your social security number. I didn't buy from Fidelitrade for that reason.

Well.... they said "Silver Bullion 5-coin Set". The word Bullion referring to the 5 oz coin and not from the silver proof set (the silver proof set coins are collectible/collector coins).... I'm pretty sure you can win in small claim court if they send you the silver proof coins instead of the 5oz, using the above argument w/ supplement publications from the Mint.

The paper works still a big hassle and I am pretty sure they will have to change them soon.....

The effort some people/companies put forth to try to take your money is unreal. Imagine if they actually used their ideas for something other than trying to get rich quick.
