I almost bought one of those just for the date. It was listed as a new york dime. Buy it now $35.

I don't know anything about that coin. Is it real? For that price I'd buy it just to own a coin that old.

The Stuvier looks quite real to me. But coming from the Netherlands it will take two weeks to arrive.

Oy, those coins were Swedish coins! At least the 1716 coin were in a pretty good condition.

Meanwhile, as promised, here is another lump of 18th. century copper eye candy from a local auction boxlot.
Country = Portugal; denomination = 10-something; size = 34 mm.
Photos do not show the color very accurately.

The top one with a bit less orange and contrast, yeah that would be a whole lot closer.
I use Irfanview and usually shoot under fluroescent light.
This is tabletop coin photography here. And lazy editing.
