Here's a pair of Indians for you. I'd like to reshoot the 1901 as the image is a bit grainy but it shows the coin pretty well. What do you think of these two?

Personally I think these two pennies are so ugly that you need to rid yourself of them. Just ship them to me for free and I will help you with this horrible situation you find yourself in.

Very nice pics of two very nice coins - sorry I cannot help you grade them, but when I was browsing the topics I literally said "Wow" when I saw your post.
Catching the color of the second one like you did in a pic is amazing.

They're both nice coins, as far as a grade on the 63 I'd say AU- 50. The '01 I'd give it a MS-63RB or less. The '63 doesn't have full diamonds and LIBERTY is weak but that could be the photo. The '01 has a couple of small rim dings reverse @ 1:00

Thanks :) The 63's liberty isn't as weak as it appears in the photo, it's actually quite strong in hand. As well, it does have full diamonds but they are pretty weak. I had a much more difficult time capturing the smaller details on that coin that the 01.

I wouldn't let that 1901 go in the market at less than MS-64. The CUNI is always a tough grade off images for the softer metal. I'll say if it makes MS, it's a MS-63.

If anyone wants to guess some more. I'll tell what grade I bought these coins at and what I paid for them on Sunday afteroon EST.

Ok, I bought both coins raw: the '63 as a generic AU for $30, and the '01 as a MS62 for $20. I'm pretty sure the 63 would go at least 55, and the 01 would likely go 63.

The '63 is an excellent coin, at a bargain price to boot! I don't seldom see CuNi IHCs like that at such a price.
Rick Snow puts a retail value of an AU50 at $80.

No wonder. You got a good deal on both.
