put your hand in my mouth...I'll bite you too. The problem isn't the players it's the league if they don't get their rules right, and their suspensions together, not just for the trouble makers but the stars too, then what do you expect. I think if he should've been suspended for the bite then Peverley should have been suspended for the two hand swing in the game tonight. There is no rhyme or reason to the league; penalties, suspensions, even listen to the commentators on the different broadcasts. It's pretty bad when the announcers and analysts at half time commend a the two handed slash as a physical play and then tear apart the bite. Inconsistencies everywhere around the NHL is why it will never become a big league sport. Look at the way the NFL has been working it's rules, fines and suspensions over. If the NHL looked at that maybe they wouldn't have such issues. Get strict. Plus why was Bergeron's hand in Burrows face giving him a face wash? It's stupid, uncalled for idiocracy. Do I like physical play? Heck yeah, I'm a fighter but you can't have physical play without cheap shots and angry plays. Get rid of physical play all together, or get your suspension, fine and rule systems in check. Thats my 2 cents on the deal...Another glorious win by the Canucks. PS, I'm a Sabres fan and just saying that goal made me think immediately of Brad May ruining Ray Bourque and Andy Moog, in 1993. That is all. I didn't know the contest was for every game either...oh well. On to game 3

Yes Scurry64, but I am affraid it is 5 cups for Boston not 4, as the last one in 1972, two years before my birth....
Boston had game 2, and let it slip away. Get out the brooms, I smell a sweep, lol....
Boston already came back from 0-2 down vs. Montreal, it's not gonna happen twice....
Warm up the fat lady....

Hockey is a big-time sport where it counts -- in Canada. The problem is that there is Bettman trying to market make it the same in the US and the 'rules' trying to do so are ruining the game and injuring the players. I'd say Bettman needs to go, but it's likely too late.
game 3
Boston 5-2 Marchand with the winner

don't talk bad about hockey in the states. In Buffalo we have top numbers in the league. The north is a better description of where hockey should be and where it is a big time sport. It's hard to get a bigger audience with inconsistencies, and crummy TV contracts.
