Rdwarrior Valued Member United States 266 Posts	Posted 06/10/2011 5:23 pm I think the pics still are not clear enough, the script around the figure in the second pic is still not readable, while I don't read Arabic, I will be looking for the date or denomination which may be there. As a side note very few Arabic coins depict living beings (prohibited by scripture)So it may not be a coin at all? Report this Post to the Staff

This example on zeno.ru has the same design and is described as a replica of a type known to have been made in Malaya in the 1950s. The inscriptions are in Arabic script but the Malay language.
