They sold one in 2005 for $575, another in 2006 for $747, and most recently in 2009 they sold a Type 1(blank) and a Type 2(planchet) for $1035 each. Report this Post to the Staff
Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 07/08/2011 5:41 pm I had to go to Heritage to even see what it looked like, it is just a blank planchet but I am guessing the reason its worth so much is because you wouldn't expect to find a commem planchet like this out in the wild. I am glad your Grand Father knew what it was and either had it graded himself or how ever he got it, that way it wasn't just excused as a blank piece of metal and got destroyed through out the years. I was mainly looking to see what crazy high prices HSN was charging for coins.
