here is a 1994P lincoln. there appears to be extra horizontal lines just below the top of the memorial building in bays 8 - 11. in bay 11 there is only one line, but in bays 8, 9, and 10 there is a shorter second line. I have pretty much eliminated damage, or contact marks, because the lines do not continue over the columns. is this anything important. the first photo is bay 10, 11. the second photo is bay 8, 9. opinions are appreciated.

Very interesting! It could be one of a number of 1994-P DDRs. My Strike It Rich guide shows a few of them. Check out https://www.coppercoins.com/ and see if you can find a match. It really looks like a winner!

Difficult to tell without images of the larger context (showing more of the coin).

i have added two photos - trying to get some better images - and some more difinitive opinions. the horizontal lines at the top of the bay - are actuall in the last 5 bays and nor just the last 4. I hope the images are a bit better. thanks.

Look at Number #13 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds

Is this what you are seeing but at the top rather than the bottom?

it does look like that. obviously it isn't the same but it seems similar. it is visible in the last 5 bays. 7, and 11 have one line, 8, 9, and 10 have two.

Hard to tell from the images provided. It could even be a scratch from die polishing. It fades behind the devices like a scratch/gouge would so on the outside face of a die.
