what lighting set up are you using for that 87? I use that USB scope bought from a member here also, but still like my digital for certain shots. I have been trying to use a few desk/spot lamps. I think I will try another method someone posted a few days ago.

Some beautiful Morgans there. This is my favourite. It's a recent purchase (images were taken by the seller; my scanner is not up to the task with a coin this pretty).

WOW! Those are two more beautiful Morgans.
Bryan, ok, you've peaked my interest, what is your history with it?
Sand, that is some awesome rev toning, coming from me who is not into toning. I'm going to bet me some blue stars also. Much better and cheaper than CAC. LOL

Quote: Bryan, ok, you've peaked my interest, what is your history with it? It is the VAM-85 I discovered last year which was the first B1 Reverse discovered in 45 years. It was featured on the cover of Coin World magazine once and featured in 3 other articles in months that followed. You can follow the story here if you haven't read it https://goccf.com/t/73683&. Here is a couple more pictures of the coin, the ones in the link and above were taken with my P&S and these were taken with the Canon T1i. As far as I know there have only been 2 others found since this discovery and both of those were MS-63DMPL and this one is MS-64DMPL. the first 63DMPL sold at TeleTrade for $3200.00 unattributed a few days after the results came back from Leroy and then resold after the news hit and everyone was looking for one but not sure how much it sold for
