I started with Canadian pennies as a child, I am from Wisconsin, and am 23 now, and I always liked the Canadian Pennies because that was always a place I wanted to visit. As that jar grew, so did my interest in coins. My mom always had the blue trifold penny books I loved to look through as a kid.

I have always been a collector, and one day I decided I was going to start with the Statehood Quarters, and ended up buying all the coin books I could and digging through tons of rolls to fill in the holes. The colection began to grow from there, and I am now hardcore in US pennies, Morgan dollars, $1 gold coins (Type 1 right now), and anything in between!

Bought a 1914 dime and at the time thought it was one of the coolest things since I had never seen a coin so old. About a week later, I decided to go back to the shop to buy a 1893 columbian half dollar. I didn't get serious about coin collecting until about 6 months later and have been hooked ever since.
