So I have decided start a BU dime collection from 1965-present. Seems like an affordable set to put together. Though I am not sure about nicer examples of the 1982 and 1983 dimes. It has been a while since I have really done anything with US coins as I mostly collect Canadian coins. So we'll see how it goes. Just a question on the SMS coins. From 65 to present is OK since that would be the start of clad coinage but still makes for a rather short set. Very few Roosevelt dimes are expensive when purchasing in high grades so why not just make a completed set from 46 to present? Many can actually be found in change at times. But regardless, most of the easrly ones are really reasonably priced in AU to MS grades. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm not sure where you live but I'm guessing you could do that whole set in bu just from rolls, face value is always a great price to pay to add something to your collection!
