Here's an interesting thought. I'm pretty sure the the ad for the RCM 2012 Fab 15 stated that there would be a limit of 10,000 sets available worldwide. My 2013 F15 Tiki limited to 5000 units, where are the other 5,000 coins coming from?. Did I get something wrong or are some RCM F15 sets populated with different coins?......HHmmmmmmm

Any chance they are talking about different "finishes", like proof vs bullion or BU?
The "Kangaroo At Sunset F15" coins have 2 different finishes, would that be the same case here?

Do you speak about 2012 or 2013 set?
You mentioned different years in your post.
Did you get this coin with F15 subscription?

And agree with Shopaholic, the finish could be different.

Does someone wont to sell 2012/2013 Cook Islands Tiki?
I try to finish my 15 coin set and for the Cook Islands coin the Tiki will be perfect. Didn't like the "Bounty".

Thank you guys for sharing your collections of coins. Very interesting ideas and some good info.

Question: How much and where were you guys be able to buy the F15 RCM box (beside subscription). Also does the F15 RCM box has the year print/engraved on the box? Thanks.

Got it with subscription. Looks like worth $50 maximum.
Recently saw couple on ebay for $90 - $100.
Nothing is written on the top of the box, only on the bottom part of the lid (inside, seen when the lid is open).
The year nor specified.

IMO, the O Canada 5-coin box is much better in overlook quality.

Where can I see some pictures of the F15 RCM box?
I really like the O-Canada 1oz box, the only problem is it only hold 5 coins and I only have 1 box for the series......

@SA4H

That's right, unfortunately the O Canada holds only 5 coins (even not enough for "Group of Seven", that similar in size).

Take a look here, for the F15 Box picture.

It also originally fits the square capsules, that uses RCM, but I put the round Air-tites too.

I got the Tiki with the 2012 subscription. Apologies, in my earlier post I stated 2013 TIKI, it is a 2012. Out of all of the coins it is the only one of the 15 that was proof unless you count the F15 Maple, it had a beautiful finish. The rest are BU even the privy mark ones.
In response to Silveroid, I've always been an everything is for sale type but I'd have no way of establishing a price, If I sell a coin I take an average of what the go for on the bay but there is nothing out there as a reference. Contact me if you would like to make an offer. Best thing that can happen is a deal we both like. The worst we can conplain about each other. <<<grin>>(I'm still a newbie on the site: Am I allowed to sell?)
I'll also be selling the F15 box in the near future for those that may be interested.

So back to my original question: "My 2012 F15 Tiki limited to 5000 units, where are the other 5,000 coins coming from?. Did I get something wrong or are some RCM F15 sets populated with different coins?......"

Any ideas?

It looks like I'll most likely be getting out of the F15 collection. I will not have any use for the box. Does anyone want to trade for a 2012 ASE proof in the box with COA?
I tried emailing SA4H but the system reminded me of my status. I shall bang my head on the floor until I'm forgiven.
cheers

I'm 3 coins into my 2013 F15 and this is the first time I've seen the box, I'm not a fan. I don't like layered boxes. My 2010 holograph vancouver collection is in a tiered box and it bothers me.

oh well.

I agree with this.
There is no problem to add (for production) another 3 cells and have a 3x5 pattern, while under the coins there could be space for COAs.
Why they did 12 + 3 - doesn't know.

Actually.....didn't they do F12 Subscription previously?
So this explains the utilization of previous box model.
