I am new to the Forum. I am particularly interested in the 1974 Winnipeg dollar. I am up to 45 different varieties and have at least 2 examples of each. Recently I was asked to sell a pl set with vcr#3 but have no idea what I should ask for it.

Welcome to the forum. The 1974 Winnipeg dollar DY V3 is listed in Charlton 65th edition for
MS 63 100, MS 64 200, and MS 65 300. The 2nd edition only lists the variety 1 at MS 65 600.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

VCR #3 is only found in PL sets, and is less common than VCR #8, #9 and #13. If the coin is mark free (i.e., PL-65 grade), then it is worth at least $250, more if a Cameo or a gem strike. The real issue with setting a price on these coins is demand, their demand is usually quite low.

PS - nice to know someone else collects these besides me!
