I'm trying to get a new or better way of organizing my mess of coins. The goal is to be able to put everything into a safe deposit box at the bank or a safe. Right now it's a mess as originally I had hoped to be able to just build out folders of 2x2 sheets to keep it tidy. However over the past 2 months I've been buying more and more coins that were already in some sort of custom holder that makes me not want to remove it.

You might could use baseball card pages for some holders. I dont think they would be big enough for slabs though.

If you are intending to place coins in a bank safety box, find the best way to categorize what should go in the are the Top 30% most valuable (dollar wise, not sentimental) pieces.
This way, most Collectors can enjoy viewing 70% of their collection at home stored in a safe and once a month make a trip to the Bank to view the rest!

No, I've got something similar already for holding 2x2 flips , however I've obtained quite a few that are in their own packaging and I don't want to break them out (proof sets for instance).

I use the long rectangular boxes that 2X2's fit nicely in, thick or thin ones. They are very common and are available at any coin shop. They would fit right into a safe deposit box.
