Looks like the new price is $229.95 although they still are listed as "Product is not available".

I canceled my order when I saw they were repricing and just ordered again today.
Unfortunately they wouldn't let me cancel my ASEs because they were already pulled for the warehouse even though they had not shipped.

Quote: whos in now? I'm considering. Again, I think I will have some time before these puppies sell out. $50 delta there is pretty decent, almost an 18% reduction. Still $15/oz over spot tho.

2010 NP5 is great deal for $229.95; it is limited to lower 2010 total mintage of 27,000 coins. NP 1-4 were all sold out at $279, so NP5 is best of all.

Finally bit tbe bullet. Just placed my online order for NP6...and 1 2011-W uncirculated silver eagle (1P6), the total came to $285.85 with the shipping. Considering that I paid $284.90 on average for NP1-NP5 earlier this year, it is like getting a ASE from the Mint for 95 cents... Thank you, COMEX... What a steal!

Why do they call these "uncirculated" when they aren't currency?

They are currency - they have a nominal face value of 25 cents, so you technically could spend them. I'm sure you'd get some funny looks if you tried though.

I am thinking of picking some these up this year.
I am curious what members think a good price would be for last years coins. The black box mint ones. At what price would it have to be for you to say you have to buy it?

Well if you figure the 2010's except for MT Hood all went out the door at 279.00, I would say if you can find them close to that you'll be lucky... Watch the auctions and pull the trigger when it's comfortable for you. The Mint still has MT Hood at 229.00 that would be a good start.. Have fun.

It arrived today, their shipping is much faster when USPS is not involved.. It's a pretty nice looking slug..
