Not that I'm planning on doing that, mind you, but it eased her mind that these weren't just the next Beanie Baby fad and that it was OK to sink some serious cash into buying 5 sets. Now, all I have to do is actually manage to buy 5 sets... I have been watching the unslabbed ones go for $150 ish, 69's go for between $150 and $225 and one "investor" paid $500 for a 70. That link also works. Was only going to buy one but the wife convinced me to buy two, that way I can hand them down to the kids when I pass. Then they can do whatever they want with them.
