So... (I accidentally posted this elsewhere... embarrassing) as a way to give back after I won, how about if I host a college football bowl pickem contest? No one else is planning one are they? We'll need a quick turnaround since the bowls start this week.

Got some cool stuff! A 90% silver 1964 Kennedy half from williamsonj320! A Franklin half (Franklins bring back childhood memories!!) and a VERY nice 1943-P War Nickel from Lion4Life! A nice pair of Indian Head cents from 52Raymo! A "mess o' nickels" from Basebal21 - all sorts... proof Jeffersons, business strike Jeffersons from just about every decade, buffaloes! Thanks everyone! A couple more have rolled in. It's been great fun... I get about one a day. Woo-hoo! I got 2 nice Mercury dimes from perfessor. I got a Canadian silver dime and Canadian silver quarter (I didn't see or make out your forum name, sorry). I have one of the Mercs set aside for a Capital holder type set, and the Canadian pieces have some neat toning. I believe they are both 1959. Neat, neat stuff. Thanks everyone!  |
