Needed another commem for my 7070. I got this one at an XF price, but I have no idea how to grade it. The toning is not over done and seems graduated, but I would like opinions on that as well. I bought the coin on ebay and it is raw. Here are the pictures used in the listing.

That toning doesn't look right to me. The way the blue moves over the top of the lettering on the reverse....isn't that a sure sign of AT?

Either way I'm sure it will look good in your album.

Thanks Tbar. I would have thought if anyone were trying to artificially tone a coin that they would do it with more color than this one. If it is artificial, is there a way to remove it withour harming the coin? Would an acetone dip do it?

I am not totaly sure on that Okie.....just my best guess, I am far from an authority.

Either way, if you like the way the coin looks I would leave it as is...and pop it in your album.

The coin definitely shows a little bit of wear. The surfaces do look a bit bizarre based on the photo.
