So I get emails from Heritage and they sent me an email (which a lot of you probably got too) about some of the coins that were sold in an auction a few days ago that ended up bringing in over $11.3 Million. WOW! That's a lot of money for a few shiny pieces of round metal

Anyway I was checking out some of the coins and I figured I would post some of them here so you guys could see.

The only 1818 Proof Quarter!

1943-S BRONZE cent! For all of you always wondering what these are worth if you find one.

A very beat up U.S. 1943 Copper cent!! Even with the damage, still an expensive coin.

An 1893-S MS64 Morgan dollar! Absolutely stunning! Almost looks MS70 on the picture!

Proof Seated Liberty half dollar. Enough said.

And last but not least, for something rare and odd, a Mormon gold coin.

Well their you have it folks! A bunch of truly magnificent coins. There were a lot more, but I'm sure you can find the rest of them online somewhere. Anyway I wish I got to post on here more often. I'm in college and I don't get too. But I will be home, obviously, for Christmas break for a few weeks and hopefully I can post more then. And do some roll searching if I find the time!

The proof quarter was stunning. One of my bucket list coins would be a proof Trade dollar.

Why do you tease us?

This is like going to the soup line with pound of bacon and a porterhouse.

I literally just got done looking at a few MS 1921 Morgans carrying the Newman provenance at Heritage. I expect them to hammer at a premium - Heaven knows I'd overbid for a Newman coin - but they're still going to be relatively affordable coins. I don't expect they'll be the only ones. Look for what you like in that collection. It's huge. You never know. There are 500 circulated coins in the collection.

Yeah, I want the Proof Quarter.

It's a shame that the 1943 copper cent took some vandalism by some unknowing person. If only they knew what they had.
