Why is the 1887/6 morgan so cheap? Are there large quantities of them? How rare are they?

Just because it's an overdate does not necessarily mean it should be expensive. The 1887/6 VAM is an R4; while it is scarce, it's not as scarce as other varieties. Is there a specific example that you are looking at?
