Wide AM On 1988-D: Cancel Topic, Answered My Own Question.

Again, the actual coin speaks better than pics. I have two photos here, both witht the 1988-D in the middle. The A.M. (America) on the 1988-D is obviously wider than the other, at least when I have them in hand. What's the deal with a wide A.M.? There's a 1999 selling on ebay right now with the same anomaloy for $152.00. Like I said, pictures don't show justice of what I actually have in hand.

The AM is supposed to be wide in 1988. The change to a Close AM happened in 1992.
