Just was at the Mints website and they have put up a release date on the Sacagawea for 2008. ** April 28th ** Now as long as they haven't been beat up in storage,we're good to go.

hmmm so I was cashing in some sacagawea's ..and thought should I be doing this.. I wanted Kennedy halves...which is better to collect you guys think?

I don't know whether there is a "better" in either case. Neither coin is being released for circulation, but there are still plenty of Kennedy's to be found in rolls, as per other threads in these forums. I personally have both in a collection, so I wouldn't rule out one over the other.

For not much over face value you can have each year's Sacs and Kennedys. It's worth adding to every year, I think. It's not a major layout of cash to get two of each every year.
