I say "good deal." Especially since shipping was pretty low. The silver in that coin alone is worth about $6.50, but the condition looks decent (from the photos... which aren't terrific).

Just my 2 cents, but I REALLY don't like the over-exposed photography when you can't really tell what the coin looks like.

And I would not buy from someone who posted pictures like this.

Just me.

Since it was only $10 bucks you don't have much to lose, but I wouldn't have bought it. Common Walker halves in VF trade as "junk silver" and the seller's pics are poor as previously noted.

You paid $10.25 for a coin that's worth about $7.25 so it's not a big deal. Maybe when silver goes back over $20/oz it will be worth close to $10 but for now just hang onto it and keep learning as we all do.........

According to the Numismedia price guide, it's worth $8. If it was a mistake, it wasn't a big one. Don't worry about it lafaa. A LOT of people have made mistakes that cost way more than yours!

Depends on the quality. It's possible to get nice ones in common dates for $17-$20 if you're patient.

Not a good deal but oh well, probably polished too. Better to have a $3.00 mistake than a $500 mistake.
