I've been trying to learn about mint varieties, errors etc. the last few days, mainly by reading this forum. I just got this in change today. The timing seems pretty coincidental so I may be imagining the doubling but there's something going on with this coin.

So, what's the verdict? Also, if it's not just PMD, is it worth anything?

i don't see any doubling but I do see a die chip/break between I and N


which has little, if any premium

Looks like a VLDS coin. The die was almost done with by this time. When this happens the devices and fields flow together leaving the area very mushy.
