Looking through my Morgan Dansco Album and noticed this one. The date doesn't look right to me. Any opinions are appreciated.

I do not see anything wrong with it other than a cleaning.

I was thinking that the 3 looks low and that it might be an altered date. Maybe its just the photo being clockwise a little bit. Thanks for your input.

Good to know that it's authentic. I purchased this on ebay. The seller listed it as AU (no mention of cleaning). I guess thats about whats to be expected when you buy raw coins on ebay.

it looks like it could have been a 1888 s, but then again why the heck would someone take a $150 morgan and make it a $40 one lol.

So nah its legit, definitely cleaned though. That dealer scratched it to heck sadly :(.
