piroz Valued Member Canada 55 Posts	Posted 09/12/2013 8:41 pm scale says 4.52g .. when I weigh others they range from 4.43 to 4.48 so it seems a bit overweight.. and the hole is quite a bit recessed heres a couple more quick shots... Report this Post to the Staff

With the multi-ply plated coins (which that one is) a laminated surface would show the copper layer and steel core. In older coins, the weight would be a good clue. That is a strike-through error.
