I got these two recently from stacks and goldberg sales. Although I love these two I was wondering if I have maybe overlooked couple of small details with respect to the TPG grading they have.

1915 Lichtenstein 5 kronen NGC MS64

There is a small stain on obverse and was wondering if a coin can still be MS grade with a stain.

1794 Netherlands Utrecht 3 gulden NGC XF45

There is a small chipping on obverse and I am not sure if this is post or pre striking damage. If it is a post striking shouldn't be counted as damaged ?

MS refers to whether or not it has wear, a stain is not wear so yes a coin should still be able to have a MS grade with a stain.

The second coin looks like that "chip" might have been a strikethrough not damage.
