I also have been spending the dollar coins like crazy. Unfortunately, I don't get any back in change.

Well all this speculation is informative and entertaining, but I guess according to coinnews.net the updated version of the law was signed on the last day of Feb. by George W. so as soon as the mint sees fit (being a government agency it could be a while!) they will be issuing the sacs for 2008!!

Yep !...that's true.....thank goodness the "headache" is over on that one ! Bit o' lively conversation about it while it lasted though.....(i was never worried they'd come out with the '08 coin though!).....pretty sure they'd fix it...just a little time that's all..
