I'm pretty sure Kingdom of Macedon gold stater (ca 330 BC), but no idea on real vs. fake.

It does appear to be a gold stater of Alexander III of Macedon circa 323-323 BC. The weight should be at least 5.5 grams. Looks like Price 2079. Can you remove it from whatever the holder is a take a better picture? It's looks like it may be real but it's difficult to say from the picture. Also this coin type is very often copied. The details on that for its age are fantastic, if it's original ( I know nothing!) then what a cool coin to own!
