antwerpen2306 Pillar of the Community Belgium 1194 Posts	Posted 02/26/2016 09:35 am one of my coins of the Gens Postumia , a denarius of Decimus Postumus Albinus . obv: Pietas : head of Pietas at right rev:Albinus Bruti F : two hand with caduceus . 17 mm , 3.58 gr , 7h , Rome, 48 BC. The mintmaster is Decimus Postumus Albinus ,adopted by the Postumia Gens , but born as Decimus Iunius Brutus .He considered himself all his life as belonging to the Brutus Family . He was one of the murderers of Caesar and himself ,he was murdered on order of Marc Anthony in 43 BC .He was very close to Caesar and was mentioned in his testament . albert Report this Post to the Staff
