echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 02/13/2016 7:58 pm It does appear to be a gold stater of Alexander III of Macedon circa 323-323 BC. The weight should be at least 5.5 grams. Looks like Price 2079. Can you remove it from whatever the holder is a take a better picture? It's looks like it may be real but it's difficult to say from the picture.
