Does anyone have info on the mint Weight Tolerance of half dollars or know where I can find a table with such? I saw one on here in a thread once but can't seem to locate it again . Any help appreciated . I have a few half dollars that are around 11.05 and 11.08 not sure if it's within tolerance or I have a few lightweights. Again thanks in adavance.

Thinking lightweights would depend on year(s) in question. Thanks, Doug.

That information at the end of that thread for the half dollars was for the silver half dollars 1947 - 1964.

The 11.35 weight figure that potbellypub listed is for a clad half dollar. The tolerances are different. Tolerance for a coppernickel clad half is +/- .454 grams so the weight range would be 10.89 grams to 11.79 grams

Potbellypub, and others, I'll make the offer again, drop me an email and I'll send you a PDF file of all the Weight Tolerances.
