Im new at this coin collecting thing. I got this from a gas station and wondering what the correct type of error this is called. Is it just the clad finish is chipping off? Is it worth anything? worth keeping?

to community, unfortunately it is not an error,it's just due to an environmental damage, gas station attendant probably found it in parking lot

@madams, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @chase that your coin just has environmental damage which does not enhance the value. It looks kinda neat, but is only worth a quarter.
