Just got these in the mail today. I find German Notgeld an interesting point in history. This was a period after WW1 when Germany's economy collapsed, hyper-inflation ensued and individual localities or businesses produced currency for their areas and products. A lot was political, some wimsical as found on some notes. These four, are made of red porcelain, metal was scarce and costly. Two are actual valued coins, one is a medallion and last is an IDK, not sure exactly what and where this originated yet.

Very nice. Have you seen the other colors these come in? Red are the most common, white are less common, and a few are black, tan, forest green, and in one case white coated with something blue. Some of the red ones are gilded. If you're not looking for specific ones, I find that in general, Germans tend to sell these for much less than Americans do.

I have two others before these, a yellow/tan an red. They go well with the notgeld notes which are intriguing as well!.
