Look at the date and mintmark devices. What do you see?
1. If the devices were polished, they would be smaller in size.
2. If the devices larger and lower in height, that would indicated a filled die with grease. The grease prevents the tops of the devices to form, just the mid and lower areas.
3. If the coin had devices that were large on all devices it could be an issue with circulation flattening.
4. If the devices are showing a 90 degree angled corner on one side of the devices, it could be
Machine Doubling.
5. If the coins devices are larger than normal and wider in the centers of the devices, then it could be a doubled die.
6. If the devices are extending towards the direction of the closest rim, it could be extreme die wear.
7.If it is one of the newer coins with the single squeeze dies and the fields were affected next to the devices, it could be
