Hi there and welcome to the CCF! Of course pictures will always help, but unless it's BU red or the extremely rare DDO (very obvious, will look like 2 sets of letters on the date), it will only be worth maybe 5 cents max. A coin without a mintmark is almost always minted in Philadelphia and is usually not any kind of error.

To CCF , The Wheat cent of 1955 sometimes exhibit errors from the famous DDO _01 to Poorman's doubled die and everything else in between . We really need photos of your coin front and back enlarged and clear to see if you have anything of value .
