The toning looks original but I suspect there is a problem with your photos. The bright white areas look like glare. I would not expect that the coin actually looks like this in-hand. This could be a nicely-toned, no-problem uncirculated coin worth more than $500, or it could be a cleaned and re-toned slider worth less than the current bid. The additional photos in the listing aren't any better than the ones you posted and the seller says "No Returns Accepted". I wouldn't go any higher than the current bid without a solid return policy. KenKat Pillar of the Community United States 4085 Posts	Posted 01/14/2011 11:15 am Cool looking coin. I like the toning and on the surface it appears to be original - perhaps album toning. The tough part is - AU or MS? Unfortunately, from the pictures you really can't tell and so (in my opinion) you have to bid on it as if it is AU. There's a big price difference between MS and AU.
