bullion that was left in fort knox. I might get one of these
as a momento. Must be cool though to actually stand around getting paid to guard nothing

No offense Bugman but No. In general most collectors do not have a lot of interest in copies. Especially poorly done ones. (Which is odd because the poorly done ones are much less likely to be able to be used to fool a novice collector. Novice general public will be fooled by most anything round and golden.)

Copies can be good if you use them for reference material. I tying to accumulate a number of different copies of 1/2cent and Large cent coppers. Once you know the enemy then you know your friends.

yeah.
my friend (westpointcoinage) bought it thinking it was a real one, and I pointed out it was a copy.

i gave him 1 $ for it, I don't now why I bought it.
