1872-H Dime With Marker

Hi guys. New to this site but have been a collector for many years.

I have found a possible interesting variety on an 1872H dime. On the obverse above the E in DEI there is what appears to be a die break. Under magnification it looks like a partial letter as it is square, with straight lines, like part of an I or T. Most die cracks I have seen are jagged and very non uniform in shape. I cant seem to get a close up macro of it, as it is too small.

Has anyone else seen one of these?

I believe it's just a standard die crack myself. It runs exactly where you'd expect a die crack to be as well.

yeah, it helped... I agree with ugly, die cracks usually start at the denticles

Die cracks can be as variable as people.
There are straight ones as well as crooked ones amongst us as well.
