roladuby New Member Canada 3 Posts	Posted 01/20/2012 12:51 pm Hi guys. New to this site but have been a collector for many years. I have found a possible interesting variety on an 1872H dime. On the obverse above the E in DEI there is what appears to be a die break. Under magnification it looks like a partial letter as it is square, with straight lines, like part of an I or T. Most die cracks I have seen are jagged and very non uniform in shape. I cant seem to get a close up macro of it, as it is too small. Has anyone else seen one of these? Ugly Pillar of the Community Canada 1733 Posts	Posted 01/20/2012 3:39 pm I believe it's just a standard die crack myself. It runs exactly where you'd expect a die crack to be as well. Report this Post to the Staff
