What do you call this type of error? Clearly the punching was not even when it was made.

I think this is called a die clash.

I am not 100% sure if that is the correct term or not, I don't collect error coins.

Nice die clash. Some might call the clash on the obverse a "bead clash" but a clash nonetheless. Doesn't add too much value in that year, but still a nice coin.
