Common or not, its just a thrill to hold such a beautiful piece of US history in your hand. If only these gem could talk to us.

Thanks, I had been looking for a nice Capped Bust quarter for a while that was in my price range and was really happy to get this one recently. I realized how much harder they are to find than Capped Bust Halves.

I've been working on Two Cent coins for the past few months trying to get ones with a clear 'WE'. I think I've reached my $ limit and so I won't pursue the 1864 Small Motto, 1872, or 1873.

Somehow I have deeper pockets when buying my favorites like Bust Halfs or Large Cents

Here's what I did purchase - most were freed from ANACS AU50 - AU55 holders.

Earle42- Yeah, I always look forward to getting a Morgan in the mail. The funny thing is when I got home I found that the door on my mailbox was open, and the package for this coin was sticking halfway out! It was very windy that day, so I'm glad this thing didn't blow away.

Bought the 2012 American SIlver Eagle last week.

UPDATE: This morning bought a 1951-S Silver Roosevelt dime. That completes my silver Rosies!

Today was a "complete the set" day for 3 of my sets.

It's Only been since the late 70s that I wanted the following pieces:
1970 D JKF
1970 S JFK

So I finally bought them. Sorry no pics. But...

I also have wanted one of the following for just as long...

But I could not stop there! So now the last two holes in the George folder will be filled...

but with fakes...

while the real ones pictured below go into the safety deposit box!

Now if all of this does not call for some dancing fruit, I know what does...

I also became a grandfather for the first time today! What a day! Now the fruit!
