wz1f Valued Member United States 224 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 7:26 pm I am not sure if this passes as a DD or not. The picture is really not the best quality. I am seeing the 1987 and the D doubled. The 1 is light but the 987 is heavy doubling and the D is doubled especially in the South East part of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff

chickenboy Valued Member United States 87 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 9:08 pm From that picture it looks like just Die Deterioration. But, I've never understood what happens to the die to actually cause it to appear as a double. Can someone explain how it forms. Report this Post to the Staff
