Hello everyone, I recently got interested in collecting coins...actually these two are my first purchase aside from typical "junk silver" and a few common Morgans.
I was hoping that I could get some trained eyes to take a look at them and give a grade.
The bottom half of the coins in the pics are softer due to the angle of the coin, in hand there is no difference. Why did I ever sell my macro lens?
When one side is higher grade than the other are they averaged or is it the lower score that sets the grade?
first one would be around G/VG and the second would be around VF/XF nice coins, I dont really have the time to study your coins more but they would be somewhere around these grades, have to run now and get to work.
oh yeah and good luck in your hobby you will find its not a bad pasttime. Get some reference books start reading and practicing your skills here you will get better at grading/spotting varieties and have more fun in your hobby.
