I have no idea what he is referring to. When you sign up for a product enrollment you will get the next available product issued...not the present or any past ones. So sign up now and get the February 2016 first issue The enrollment page has pictures of all Saratoga coins but that is for reference only. Pretty straightforward on the Mint site: Quote:

Agree with Foxwoods... subscription starts on the NEXT available issue. A small aside here: Other than pure convenience, I can't imagine why anyone would do a subscription any more, particularly if you buy more than 2 or 3 products from the mint a year. When they offered the 10% discount, that was worth it due to, particularly for the ATB 5-oz pucks because it offset the shipping. But now without that discount, you're just wasting $5 for every subscription you don't combine into another shipment. I still see Saratoga, Kisatchie, and Homestead as available with Bombay "Currently Unavailable". |

The only reason to do a subscription now is if the initial day/weekend of sales is more than 15-16K, and if the limit on the unc is 20K. For this year, I could easily see the TR selling to 20K the first weekend, so having a subscription beforehand may save disappointment. It's not as if you're locked into the subs for the whole year, it can be cancelled anytime. The whole exercise is moot if the limits are raised back up to 25-30K. However, the ATB bullion at 45K seems pretty safe with the continued low price of silver. |

On the silver price I was reading how currently it costs about a dollar more per Oz just to mine it than current spot

A lot of collectors have their gunsights on the TR, I suspect. It'll look great on the larger format and it remains to be seen if the Mint picks up on the TR mania of the last few years and increases the mintage of it relative to the other four or if they'll be asleep at the wheel and treat all five releases as equal and be surprised by an early sellout. It's happened before.

I have to agree with Bizy. We have to keep an eye out for the declared mintage of TR puck and take "appropriate action" as needed. Btw, for any of you interested/looking for the 2010 bullion pucks: APMEX is having a "2015 Year-End Sale" that's end on Jan 4th. Their current price is spot + $105 = $174.60 cash or $181.54 credit. |

I have subs for a few items BUT the cost of each sub is $150 or more so 5 bucks added comes to 3% added which I think is acceptable...I would not have a sub for a single low priced item which would not be cost effective... but this is a thread about a $150 item so that does not apply. I also have the subs for, as was mentioned, convenience and as an insurance to avoid forgetting to order and missing a product. |

Good points, Foxwoods, and I can see where it would make sense if the P-pucks were ever in danger of selling out in the first 15 minutes, but we haven't seen that yet. Who knows for TR though - that could be a doozy... I will definitely be at my keyboard at 11AM Central for that one! I cancelled all my subscriptions when they did away with the 10% and instead set up calendar reminders. They money I save in shipping each year buys me at least one proof ASE a year.  |

I think if multiple forums talk up the potential popularity of the TR puck the Mint will decrease the bullion portion to make more P's available...much more profit there.

Decent prices... Interesting that Provident is cheaper at "$4.49 over spot" (92.73) than Gainsville at "$3.89 over spot" (92.88) Math says Gainsville should be cheaper by $3 but it ain't true  |

No, the Gainesville price refers to the wire/check price. But it defaults to credit card payments, hence the mismatch.
