From what I've learned on the small date the top of the seven will be even with the 9 and 0 and also the inside loop on the 9 will be pointing toward the 7 while on the large date the end of the loop points toward the mintmark. If it were an equal length to the bottom of the 0 you would have a S.D. Not a bad grade for a 42 year old coin though! Report this Post to the Staff
