Hi guys, I'm new here and love the site. Very informative place. Now on to business lol. I'm not sure but I think I may have a 2011 Nickel that looks like it has an extra log or branch just under the beavers chin. I will take a pic of it later in time but I'm just curious if anyone else noticed or has seen one before. Thanks.

Interesting. I can't pick it for (a), die damage or (b), a re cut variety.
Hunch says (a).
Other opinions?

Sorry, tried to take the best pic that I can with my camera phone lol. I'll try to get a better pick for you. When I look through the magnifying glass, it doesn't look like a scratch of any sort because you can see the lift of it. If this is a unique coin, what kind of value would it have.

Try to take a picture through a magnifying glass, that's how I do it. And play with the angle of light, that helps to make things more visible sometimes.

Thankks for the welcome guys and yes I did use a mag to largen it but I think it was the camera phone that doesn't work well. I'm going to have to dig up the digital camera since I just moved into my new home, its hidden somewhere lol. I was just curisous as to what the value could be since it may be rare I hope lol.
